August 2002. I'd gotten a job delivering pizzas. Well, I only lasted a day (realizing I was spending more on gas than I was bringing home in tips), and it wasn't worth the stress. I actually wrote this in my head during a delivery that took way longer than it should have (damn you, new subdivisions! In all fairness, this WAS before GPS or Google Maps). Recorded it as soon as I got home. The bridge was supposed to represent the protaganist opening a box of pizza slowly and the steam rising up slowly, hitting the frog in its face. Uh....yeah. Seriously. "Pizza Delivery Frog" would end up being re-worked a year later as "Sanctuary". Quick thought....is it just me, or does it kind of sound like the Beach Boys' "Johnny Carson" (written by the legendary genius Brian Wilson) in parts? It was unintentional, if so.
