- Recorded late summer 2002. Despite us writing together prior to getting married, Dana was not a part of the band at this point. She had plenty of musical gifts to share, though, and periodically would work on material on her own. One day I found one of those sketches, and turned it into a full fledged song. More than any other song we'd done to this point, "Dream Catcher" points the way toward the sound we'd take on years later. In fact, songs such as "Letting Go" and "Midnight Tango" can be viewed as direct descendants from this track. Bravo, Dana.
Note: there is an earlier mix that was completed but was on the same tape that would get lost; unlike other songs that were re-recorded, though, there are no significant changes to this version compared to the original.
